An Enlightening Introduction To Finding The Best Cigar Lighter For You

As a serious cigar aficionado, you know that the right cigar lighter is vital for a satisfying smoking experience. Lighting up comprises such a major, ritualistic part of cigar smoking, that it is a near-sacrament among those who savor stogies.

Cigar tobacco is much coarser and moister than cigarette tobacco. These characteristics require a hotter flame, which must be applied for a longer time, insure to complete combustion. This means that getting maximum flavor and satisfaction from inhaled cigar smoke is largely dependent upon properly igniting the tobacco. For these reasons, lighting cigars involves a certain amount of skill; unlike ordinary lighters, cigar lighter features unique properties.

Finding the cigar lighter which best suits your needs may seem challenging. Cigar lighters are available in a variety of styles, colors, and sizes. By understanding the basic differences among these mini incendiary devices, you can be properly prepared when shopping for a cigar lighter. Butane-burning models are primarily popular among pipe tobacco smokers, as they offer a triple-flame configuration. Three separate streams of fire are emitted to provide even heat distribution along the underside of the bowl of tobacco pipes. Cigar smokers, too, often prefer butane lighters as they produce the hotter flame cigars require for complete, evenly distributed tobacco combustion.

An avid cigar smoker might be more inclined to use a propane-based cigar lighter for the more even flame pattern it discharges. A propane cigar lighter is also more convenient to use and carry than wooden cigar matches. In addition to firing up the stogies, cigar lighters are useful for many other practical applications. During times of war, top-notch cigar lighters have been widely used in combat operations. Moreover, a cigar lighters is handy for igniting grills, gas appliance pilot lights, and votive (glass-enclosed) candles. This is due to the strong, air-propelled flame a cigar lighter produces - no matter what angle the lighter is held at.

As you embark upon your cigar journey, be aware that this entire superb conflagration comes with a price: a quality cigar lighter costs between $35 and $80. By shopping online, however, you can usually find a better bargain than "stick-and-brick" retail outlets generally offer. If you are a frequent traveler, you should know that you cannot take your cigar lighter aboard an airplane, or inside any baggage or checkout areas of airports, due to explosion hazards posed by the liquefied fuel it contains.

Choose a cigar lighter, which features a "sparker". This is an arm-like component built into the top of the cigar lighter, which generates the spark necessary to ignite a flame. These models are safer than those without this feature. Finally, ensure that the cigar lighter features durable exterior housing for the internal flame-generating mechanisms. By following these simple suggestions, you will be glowing with satisfaction and ablaze with delight while slowly savoring your favorite tobacco treat!

Can anyone tell me the best way to identify fuses for my 2000 XJ8?
I just recently purchased a 2000 XJ8 VDP. No manuals came with the car. I have a service manual and am waiting for an owners manual. The service manual is clear as mud in identifying which fuses are which and where they are located. Ok, I am not a mechanic, it is probably what I need but I have not been doing too good. Specifically the cigar lighters and lamps inside the trunk do not work. HELP!!!
